How to Make Donations

The City Congregation has received recognition of its tax-exempt status by the Internal Revenue Service. Contributions to The City Congregation are deductible as charitable contributions to the extent provided by law.

Multi-year Pledges and Annual Donations

In addition to dues, The City Congregation is supported by the generous contributions of its members. By making pledges for multi-year gifts we especially secure the future of our congregation. We will be happy to discuss with you arrangements for making such a commitment. Please call the office to notify our administrator of your interest and you will be contacted by someone who can discuss the pledge process with you. One time gifts can be made at any time, or as part of our annual campaign.

The City Congregation Chai Fund

Honor the accomplishments of friends and family or memorialize the lives of loved ones by making a donation of $18 or more to the The City Congregation Chai Fund. Donations can be in the form of checks, credit card payments, and appreciated securities, which may provide a tax benefit to the donor.

Amount: $

Checks should be made out to "The City Congregation" and mailed to: The City Congregation for Humanistic Judaism, 30 West 26th Street,  #11L, New York, NY 10010-2067. Please indicate for whom the donation is in honor and where a tribute card should be mailed.
